Trellis Cottage description

Trellis Cottage is a character holiday cottage tucked in a peaceful spot and ideal for couples or small families who want to be very close to a beach or coastal and inland scenic walks. It has an enclosed rear garden and parking to the front. As well as electric storage and supplementary electric heating it has a traditional open fire for cosy evenings in.

Location

The cottage is just off the square of thatched cottages in fishing village of Hope Cove and surrounded by National Trust land. It is 100yards from one of Hope Cove's beaches and the coastal path and just a short walk to Outer Hope with it's PO/shop, pub and café.

Accommodation

Ground Floor: Front stable door to small entrance hall. Sitting room with open fireplace, TV, DVD, and video. Dining room with window to the rear garden and small stereo system. Fitted galley kitchen with ceramic-topped electric cooker (double oven), microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and door to rear garden. On the first floor: A pretty double bedroom (4ft 6in bed) and a second bedroom with twin beds (3ft beds). The bathroom has a bath with shower over, WC, washbasin and heated towel rail.

Outside information

There is a small garden area to the front that can be used for off-street parking. A side gate leads to an enclosed rear garden. The rear garden has a small sheltered seating area by the cottage and steps leading to the raised grassed area which catches the later sun and has views over the village and surrounding countryside. Garden furniture and BBQ are provided. There is also a small lean-to, useful for storing beach gear.
