May Villa description

May Villa is a comfortable detached family holiday home in an enviable location. There are sea views from many rooms and it is spacious enough for two families but does not feel too large for a couple or small group for an out of season holiday. The property has the benefit of double glazing, central heating throughout and a rear sheltered garden.

Location

The property is in the fishing village of Hope Cove just 50 yards from one of the beaches with a slipway. It is also 50 yards from the Devon Coast path leading up to National Trust land and Bolt Tail and a short walk from the facilities of Outer Hope. It is ideal for those who would love beach, sailing, water sport or walking facilities right on their doorstep or even if you want to just be able to step out the door and admire breathtaking views.

The accommodation comprises:
On the ground floor: Entrance hall with settle. Dining room with bay window. Spacious, fitted kitchen with tiled floor, ceramic topped cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and door to garden. A double bedroom (5ft bed). A bunk room (2 full size bunk beds). Small sitting room/snug with sofa and portable TV (ideal for children’s day room and to set up computer games if required). Shower room with shower cubicle, WC and washbasin.

On the first floor: Two stairs to the left lead immediately into a triple bedroom (4ft 6in bed and 3ft bed). Two stairs to the right lead to the landing off which there is a dual aspect sitting room with 2 sofas, TV, video, DVD player and stereo system. A double bedroom (5ft bed). A twin room (3ft beds). A bathroom with bath, WC and washbasin.

Outside information

Outside there is a small front garden and rear garden which is mainly paved to give a large patio area with original stable walls on two sides making it private and sheltered. There are garden chairs, a table, a BBQ and a shed, useful for storing beach gear. There is parking for 2 cars in the drive but this is quite narrow. You may find it more convenient to find parking on the street for larger cars.
